Fun, Quick Game

We love playing games and board games. This is a great, quick game that helps children strengthen their math skills. We use this in our homeschool setting and just play time.

Gets my kids off their phones

This is such an easy and fun game to play and my kids actually put their phones down. We have a large family so this one is perfect for us. We leave it out on the table all the time and daily at least someone is playing with it. I will also walk by and stop to play a round myself.

Shut The Box Game

This game, shut the box, comes in a branded box as shown in my picture with the board game, a bag of wooden dice, and a sheet of instructions.

I've never heard of this and just wanted to try out a new game with my family. We read the instructions but they are a bit confusing on the sheet so ended up having to look up instructions elsewhere.

The idea of the game is that you each get two dice, all of the number sticks start in the upwards position. Once someone rolls the dice when it is their turn, they can choose to put down the corresponding stick that matches the total amount their dice is worth or the individual numbers on the dice. Once you roll an amount that you can't put any other sticks down, it is the end of your turn. You are supposed to add up all of the numbers each person puts down per turn and the person with the least amount at the end wins.

Overall, it's an easy and fun game once you get the hang of it. If you look up a video or other instructions, it is easier to understand.
