This whiffle ball strike zone will provide hours of fun for me and my boys! We play whiffle ball pretty much every night, but playing without a strike zone was difficult, so we bought this. It is well priced, sturdy and very simple to assemble. My 13 year old put it together in a matter of minutes, following the step by step directions. It comes with stakes so that you can secure it into the ground and not worry about it falling over in the middle of a game. It also comes with a convenient carrying bag so that it can be easily transported or stored when not in use. Just keep the assembly directions in the bag so that you can put it back together next time you want to use it. I plan on leaving it assembled and outside all summer long, so we will see how it holds up to the elements, but so far I'm very impressed and happy with it!
I was pleasantly surprised by the sturdy PVC material used for its construction and the ease of assembly. The carrying case is perfect for traveling anywhere. I am patriotic so I really like the colors too. This is not just for one but for the whole family to practice too! We are so glad we added this to our backyard activities and is great for all ages in our family…even our seniors love it!
If you're looking to play around with your toddlers or kids under the age of 8, this is perfect. If you’re looking to improve the skills of a more serious player, there’s better options out there! Overall, it’s a decent enough strike zone and does the trick. Fun to throw a ball at. Very quick and easy to assemble. Made of lightweight plastic tubes. The strike zone is held on with velcro and stays put for the most part. Cheap quality. You should go with the larger one for taller kids or if you want your kids to be able to use it for a few years. I got the small one for my ten year old son and it works but I should’ve gotten the bigger one.
We got this for our family so that everyone could practice with their wiffle ball pitching. My husband and our oldest son have a friendly men's competition coming up and they wanted to hone their pitching skills. Our younger children are learning the basics of wiffle ball/baseball so this is something they will be able to grow into.
Setting it up goes by quickly and was rather easy. It does need more than one person to help put on the 'cloth' part. We have just moved it still put together rather than take it apart each time we are done with it so I don't know how well it will stand up to putting it together and taking it apart.
Overall, this is a fun addition to our time spent outside.
