Excellent quality for amateurs. Worked great on the beach. A multi-generational hit that was popular with teens and 70-somethings. They do scuff on the sand but we were fine with that.
This is a very nice bocce ball set. I forgot how much I enjoyed a good game of bocce in the back yard until I got this set to try it out. The set is very well made and the bocce balls are nice and heavy. I didn't weigh the balls for accuracy of weight, but I am not concerned about the weight being "perfect". The set is designed for use on grass and turf, so anyone saying the balls get damaged when the are used on concrete or asphalt doesn't understand what these are designed for. Any bocce ball I have ever used will get damaged by concrete or asphalt.The storage bag is well made as well and stores everything nicely without any wasted space. I kept the cardboard box inside to help the bag hold its shape for travel and ease of storage.I looked at several options before I settled on this product. The positive reviews with good details on the set helped me to decide on this specific product. The price was also a factor and this fit the budget.I would recommend this set to anyone looking to have a good bocce set for at home without the high price tag of some other name brand sets.
