Great for people who like puzzles

This is a great product for people who like to do puzzles. You can sort your pieces in trays and it’s on what is basically a lazy Susan so you can spin it around instead of having to keep reaching across everything. I also recommend this if you don’t have a dedicated puzzle space. You have have this on your kitchen table while you’re working on it but then easily move it somewhere else when you need to use the table.

Holds a puzzle well. Cover is a little lacking.

This is a nice way to do a puzzle. As everybody knows, when you start a large jigsaw puzzle on the dining room table, then that table is out of commission for quite some time. This board can really help with making it so you can keep your table available and also put the puzzle away if you need to take a break for a while.

The actual surface that you do the puzzle on is white and fairly smooth so pieces move around easily and don't get lost. I have a different puzzle board that's kind of similar which has a very dark background, so sometimes you don't see the pieces jump out at you when you're doing a quick search.

This one also has the felt that can be used as a cover which is sort of useful but I'm not sure how good of a job it would do. I have cats and I really suspect they would just move the cover off immediately even by simply walking across it because their claws would stick and pull it up. Then the pieces would get batted all over the place. But if it's just a dust cover or a general unsightliness cover then it is a good fit. Even some elastic bands on each corner would help to keep the cover on. Maybe that is something I’ll add myself.

There is one curiosity about this thing which is the drawers could have been 50% longer to hold more pieces. If you look at the photo that I took, you can see on the back side that the drawers could slide in a lot more. Kind of a strange design decision they made there. It doesn't take away from the usefulness of the drawers. They just could have been bigger.

The spinner works nice and smooth so that you can turn the board for a better angle, or trade places with someone across the table from you. The only thing that is lacking is a way to get it perfectly centered. You can get it close enough, and it works just fine. I might make some way of centering it easily.

This particular puzzle board does not have any legs and the back is open. So if you were wanting to maybe hold this on your lap it would not work all that well.

The drawers are not designed to hold all of the pieces of a 1000-piece puzzle, but they certainly do get a lot of them off of the puzzle building surface which is very nice. If this is your first foray into a puzzle board, I think you'll enjoy it.

Work a puzzle AND still have access to your table!

I love to do jigsaw puzzles, but don't love having my table monopolized for days (weeks?) while I finish one. This puzzle board is generously-sized, light and easy to move, but my favorite feature is the four large, shallow sorting drawers. They slide completely out, which made it easy to further sort and organize within the drawers. I also like the felt cover, keeping things tidy (and keeping curious cats out!). The board comes with a turntable, but it doesn't actually attach to the frame and I was constantly bumping the board off the turntable as I worked. Next time, I either 1) won't use the turntable at all or 2) will try to figure out a way to attach it to the frame (super glue? mounting tape??). Be sure to orient your puzzle correctly as you're laying out pieces and you will have PLENTY of room. My photo shows a thousand piece puzzle. This is a great item for puzzle fans!
